Each DLS comes with a 12 month warranty for defects in material and workmanship, standard. Please see further details below.
Each DLS also comes with a free replacement focusing lens and mirror which are user serviceable.
Upon receiving your DLS, inspect the outside of the crate for any damage and refuse delivery if there is anything noticeable. Open the crate and inspect for any obvious damage and contact us immediately if there is any shipping damage. If there is shipping damage we will need a couple pictures of the damage and we will arrange for the damaged unit to be picked up and a new one to be dropped off to you as soon as possible. It is extremely important to inspect for damage and notify us as soon as possible.
If the unit is not damaged in shipment, then the standard warranty would apply. This warranty causes defects in materials and workmanship. We will at our discretion either provide replacement parts for user serviceable components or sub-assemblies or send a replacement unit to you if the repair is extensive enough to require being done at the factory. During the warranty period all replacement part costs, including shipping will be covered. Damage to the unit do to improper use or neglect by the user will not be covered by the warranty. Additionally units that are modified either through hardware, firmware or software will have the warranties voided. Repairs and replacement parts for units outside of the warranty period will be at the user’s expense.
